Chỉ quan niệm mê tín cho rằng vào các tuổi ba mươi mốt và ba mươi ba, con người dễ gặp hạn xấu, ốm đau, tai nạn hoặc rủi ro. Thường dùng để nói về những năm tuổi bị xem là không may theo tín ngưỡng dân gian.

This refers to the superstitious belief that at ages thirty-one and thirty-three, a person is especially likely to face misfortune, illness, accidents, or other bad luck. It is used when speaking of ages traditionally regarded in folk belief as unlucky years.
